Uploading with Android Studio

The TestFairy plugin for Android Studio and IntelliJ IDEA provides a single-click deployment of builds onto the TestFairy platform.

Installation


  1. Open Android Studio.

  2. Select File --> Settings (in Windows) or Android Studio --> Preferences (in Mac/Linux) menu.

  3. In the shown window, select Plugins from the left tab, and then click Marketplace

  4. In the search bar, type TestFairy and install the TestFairy Integration plugin:

  5. When returned to the previous dialog, click OK. You will be asked to restart. All plugins require a restart to complete installation, so click Restart at your convenience.

Usage

With the plugin successfully installed in your development editor, a small icon now appears in your task bar.

When using for the first time, you will be prompted for an API KEY. This is your private key that can be found in your User Preferences page.
