Please follow the next steps to include the TestFairy SDK ANE in your AIR project:

  1. Download the latest version to your computer.

  2. Open your project properies, click on the Project menu, and select Properties.

  3. Select Flex Build Path or ActionScript Build Path from the left sidebar, and click on Native Extensions.

  4. Click Add ANE, and type in the path to the ANE you've just downloaded.

  5. Select Flex Build Packaging or ActionScript Build Packaging, select Apple iOS. Now select the Native Extensions tab.

  6. Make sure the Package checkbox is checked.

If you are developing using Adobe Flex, add an import and a call to your onApplicationComplete method. For AS3 projects, add the code to your main function.

  import com.testfairy.AirTestFairy;

Replace APP_TOKEN with your app token value, which can be found in the User Preferences page.

Android requires some extra permissions and activities to be added to the final AndroidManifest.xml. This can be done by editing your project's app xml, and modifying the android tag with the following:

        <manifest android:installLocation="auto">
            <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET"/>
            <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE"/>
            <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE"/>
            <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE"/>
                <activity android:name="com.testfairy.activities.ProvideFeedbackActivity" android:configChanges="orientation|screenSize"/>
                <activity android:name="com.testfairy.activities.AutoUpdateActivity" android:configChanges="orientation|screenSize"/>
